NewsTraN is the research network in News Translation. It brings together international scholars with diverse specialties who all have a shared interest in research in news translation and media studies.

Our goals are:

• to enhance, promote and facilitate academic research collaboration around News Translation between scholars coming from various universities 
• to develop and facilitate academic research collaboration around News Translation with scholars coming from other research fields
• to develop collaboration with professionals (TV, newsroom, press, new media…)
• to get more visibility for research in News Translation
• to create a structure for supporting and strengthening research collaboration
• to promote international interdisciplinary collaborative research.
